Alert water tanker driver averts a bigger accident
A car stood burning on the Cadbury flyover on the Eastern Express Highway on Wednesday, leading to traffic snarls on the busy highway. The car, it is said, burst into flames on the flyover and would have exploded had it not been some quick thinking on the part of a water tanker driver who was driving by and saw the incident.
Nadar, the driver of the water tanker, immediately stopped his tanker near the car and took out the water hose and started dousing the car which was now engulfed in flames.

In fact, he acted in the nick of time and averted a bigger accident. "The car could have exploded as the CNG tank had caught fire. Thankfully, this man, driving a water tanker stopped and extinguished the flames, before something worse could happen," said a bystander who was witness to the entire incident.
